Same day virtual visits

Sick today? You shouldn't have to wait until Thursday.

When your doctor can't see you for days — or you don't have a primary care provider at all — you deserve fast, affordable care from someone clinically qualified to help. No waiting room, no insurance hassle, and no uncertainty about who you'll be seeing.

Who you'll see

You'll know exactly who is treating you.

The same board-certified nurse practitioner, every visit. Not whoever is on rotation.

Jessica Rousseau is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating patients across the lifespan.

As an FNP, she holds full prescriptive authority and is licensed to independently assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and common illnesses — the same conditions managed daily in urgent care clinics and primary care offices.

Her background spans direct patient care in complex, fast-paced environments, which is where diagnostic judgment actually gets built. You'll receive evidence-based care from a seasoned clinician who takes your symptoms seriously, explains things clearly, and gets you the right treatment without the wait.

About prescriptions. If a prescription is clinically appropriate for your situation, it goes directly to the pharmacy of your choice right after your visit. Not every concern needs one — and if yours doesn't, or if what you need falls outside what I can safely treat virtually, I'll tell you plainly and point you toward the right care.

Being straight with you

When a virtual visit isn't the right call.

Virtual care handles a lot, but not everything. If your concern falls outside what I offer, I'll tell you plainly and point you toward the right provider.

Not offered virtually

  • ADHD evaluation or treatment
  • Pain management
  • Urinary symptoms in men
  • Anyone under 18 years old
  • Patients outside Kentucky
Unsure whether your concern fits? Text before booking and you'll get an honest answer.

Seek in-person or emergency care

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Signs of stroke — facial drooping, arm weakness, difficulty speaking
  • Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
  • High fever with confusion or a stiff neck
  • Any symptom that feels like an emergency
Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

Same day visits are for acute, episodic care and aren't a replacement for a primary care provider. If your visit reveals something more complex, patient advocacy services may be the better next step.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do you take insurance?

Same day virtual visits are cash pay only. This keeps pricing transparent, appointments unhurried, and care focused entirely on you rather than on billing requirements. Payment is due at the time of your visit. Prescriptions are not included and will be based on your insurance plan — if you don't have insurance and need a prescription, I'll work with you to find something within your budget at your preferred pharmacy.

Can you send a prescription to my pharmacy?

Yes. If a prescription is clinically appropriate for your situation, I'll send it directly to the pharmacy of your choice following your visit.

What if my condition needs in-person care?

Your safety is always the priority. If your symptoms suggest a condition that requires in-person examination, testing, or emergency care, I'll tell you clearly and help guide you to the right resource. Virtual care is appropriate for many common illnesses, but there are situations where being seen in person is the right call — and I'll always be honest with you about that.

Is this the same as going to urgent care?

In many ways, yes — with a few important differences. You'll be seen by an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner without leaving your home, without sitting in a waiting room, and without the uncertainty of who you'll see when you arrive. For common illnesses that can be assessed and treated virtually, this is faster, more personal, and often more affordable.

How quickly will I be seen?

Same day visits are available based on current scheduling availability. Once you book and complete your intake paperwork, you'll be seen at your scheduled time with no unnecessary delays.

What if I need more than a same day visit?

Same day visits are designed for acute, episodic care — common illnesses that can be assessed and treated in a single visit. They aren't intended to replace a primary care provider or serve as ongoing disease management. If your visit reveals something more complex — an undiagnosed condition, a pattern of recurring symptoms, or a situation that would benefit from coordinated support — patient advocacy services may be exactly what you need next.
